Life is short, have an affair

Life is short, have an affair. That's the slogan of the website Ashley Madison, which was just recently hacked, releasing all the names of the cheating people registered. It boasts over 37 million users, yet they're currently being sued by people for creating fake profiles to attract more men. On the main page of the website it says, "Ashley Madison is the most famous name in infidelity and married dating. Ashley Madison is the most successful website for finding an affair and cheating partners."

Now I don't usually condone illegal activity. But to be completely honest, If I were to meet the hackers responsible for hacking this website and releasing the names of all the cheaters, I'd offer to buy them a drink or something. There are many articles online with people that are coming out and claiming that this hack, releasing all the names of the registered users, has ruined their life. Really?!?!? Really?!?! You are on a website for affairs, whether you're married, or you're sleeping with someone that's married. You're ruining their family. Talk about complete selfishness. You put your own selfish desires over EVERYONE ELSE that you're supposed to love and take care of.

I don't care if the marriage is on the rocks or is already over. It's not like these people are on a dating site and accidentally sleep with someone that's married. They are ON A WEBSITE DESIGNED FOR AFFAIRS. That's the ultimate perversion. They are getting off on destroying marriages, and families. They are destroying childrens' lives because they can't keep their legs closed. Sad when illegal hackers are the more moral ones of the story. Now the website is offering 500k Canadian for information to find the hackers. So it's not ok to hack, but it's ok to cheat? There is a story claiming that 2 of the people revealed have committed suicide because they can't live with the shame and guilt of people knowing. This story goes to show that we as humans are a sad, sad race in desperate need of a wakeup call. If it comes from hackers, so be it. But cheating is NEVER ok. If you are unhappy, work it out, or get divorced. It makes my blood boil the selfishness and the complete disregard for the wives, husbands, and children involved. If you want sex, go find sex. But for crying out loud, destroying your own life is one thing, but going on a website designed to destroy marriages, and childrens' lives is absolutely despicable. I'm just so disgusted. God help us. The people who have been cheated on will not have a problem with this hack, however all the people who cheat will have a problem.

Oh, and p.s. the creator and CEO Noel Biderman says, "cheating is a natural part of married life. However, he says he is a devoted husband, and his wife of 12 years says she would be devastated if he was unfaithful." Noel and Amanda Biderman say they do not practice what they preach but simply are smart entrepreneurs seizing an untapped market."I am printing money, I don't deny it," Biderman told the New York Daily News in 2014. "That's what happens when you build a taboo-focused business."
